Today/tonight marks the Autumn Equinox. This is the point where the length of day and night are equal.

For our ancestors, Autumn meant harvesting all the crops that had been planted earlier in the year, and a successful harvest helped communities thrive through the darker, colder months.

Today you might like to think about what you 'planted' earlier in the year.

What worked well for you? What ideas or projects perhaps didn't work out? What might you do differently, and what successes are you grateful for?

Its a beautiful day here, so I'll be taking a wee stroll to admire the colours that are starting to appear.

A very, very belated thank you to everyone who visited my stall last Saturday at The Hugh Fraser Retirement Estate.

I had an absolute ball, and it was lovely to meet friends old and new.

Today is the first day of metrological Autumn, and the start of the 'ber' months of September, October, November and December and officially my favourite months!

The autumn Equinox won't be here until the 23rd of September, so this is more of a wee pause between seasons. Not summer, not quite proper autumn.

It's definitely time to break out my woody, earthy, green scent, Woodland Walk!

Perfect for this time of year, it'll refresh your space with it's deeply grounding aroma, gently bidding farewell to summer and welcoming in the next season.

The 1st of August marks Lammas, an ancient Celtic Fire Festival that celebrates the first Harvest.

It's still definitely Summer, but nights are darker a wee bit earlier, fruit is starting to ripen and there's the odd rogue leaves that have turned slightly golden. There's a feeling that Autumn is on the horizon.

I'm not Summer's greatest fan, so this is a cause for celebration for me! 😂

Dino and I will be at Greenbank Gardens Market tomorrow 10-4, so why not pop up if you are local? by @secondnaturegirl

A massive thank you to everyone who visited my stall at Clarkston Halls yesterday. What a busy 4 hours that was!

It was so lovely to be at a local market again, meeting old friends and making new ones too ♥️

Peaceful Sleep Pillow Spray sold out, so I'll be whipping up a new batch this week and I'll let all of you on the wait list know when it's ready.
