I am planning to do a giveaway for a custom commission painting this October! The painting will probably be about 11” x 14” on canvas. If you’re not on my email list, click link and bio. I highly recommend getting on there to be notified when the contest launches. I will have people who are interested submit the photos that they want painted and then one will be chosen from there (more details on that coming soon).

I am an artist making things by hand. I am not AI. I am not a machine. So there will be some guidelines in terms of photos. For example, I’m not good at portraits or faces, the painting will need to be in my style, and I absolutely will not copy another artists work or style. I will talk about all of that when the actual giveaway launches. I’m anticipating launching around October 5!

If you are looking for a custom painting for your mom for the holidays. Or for your spouse for your anniversary. Or for your new home. This is definitely the giveaway you are going to want to enter! Stay tuned for more information!

It’s no surprise, but I absolutely live for summer. From June through September, I absolutely overwhelmed myself with early mornings, late night, nights, trips, art, friendships, and everything else I can squeeze in between. Just a few highlights from this year:
☀️ Two art shows
☀️ Successfully planned and executed my first art festival
☀️ Paintings shipped to three states
☀️ Launched the Buffalo Harbor collection
☀️ Launched my handpainted bandanas
☀️ Traveled to Seattle and Cape Cod
☀️ Spent an incredible week at our family cottage with my mom, cousin, brother, and and nephews
☀️ Handful of boat days
☀️ Displayed my art in two local wine bars
☀️ Secured a full magazine feature
☀️ my daughter learned how to ride her bike and we spent the entire summer riding all over the village

I’m starting a very special commission painting that is for a great cause. I’m often and asked if I could donate paintings or prints for various things and to be honest most of the time I do have to say no (mostly because of the amount of time that goes I to each one). But this is a cause that I couldn’t say no to and I can’t wait to share more with you soon. Follow along to see this special piece!

The second drop of my original hand-painted bandanna scarves are being packaged up! These nautical and coastal inspired scarves can be used as bag, charms, scarves on your neck, tied up in your hair, the opportunities are endless! I have 12 coming with me to the @hideawaybayresort art festival tomorrow, Sept 12! Anything left over will be added to my website after the show!

Bandanna is handmade and hand dyed (by another small business owner) and hand painted with original designs by me! All are 100% cotton and can be gently washed and ironed.

Three updates/announcements!

1️⃣ The @hideawaybayresort Art Festival is this Saturday from 10-5! Find me there with my art and new hand painted bandana scarves!

2️⃣ My opening reception for Shore to Shore at Bacchus Wine Bar will be moving to November

3️⃣ If you’re interested in having a commission done as a holiday gift, please reach out to me now. You can fill out the commission form on my website or simply just send me a DM. For commissions, I can do custom paintings, hand, painted shells, I can paint shells that you collected on vacation, acrylic and watercolor paintings. But I really spend a lot of time in October working on holiday commission so make sure you get them in early!

I am so excited about this project! Last week when I was at the lake, I was looking to buy a hand dyed bandana to compliment a specific outfit, and I had this idea to paint coastal themed bandanas for outfits, bag charms, hair accessories, or whatever your hearts desire!

I literally couldn’t wait to share my excitement about these, but I have more designs in the works, including oyster shells and seashells, lobsters, and more!
