A year ago this was a dream I didn’t dare say out loud. Now it’s a real collection, shot in our own studio, and finally ready to share with you.

Every piece here took months to get right. Cotton sourced as deadstock and made in small batches. Chore coats in organic cotton. Knitwear in 100% cashmere. Linen blouses with Victoriana lace inserts. Our new bloomer trousers. Leather jackets made to order, just for you. Vintage fabric panels given a second story. And our bestselling pinafore, reworked for autumn in check and lace.

Nothing mass made. Just considered clothing, made to stay.

The shortest style from our OG Dream Coat line up, cut to just above the hip in super soft premium suede with a lush Mongolian fur trim. Fully lined, with pockets and traditional furrier hook and eye fastenings hidden in the trim.

Named after the original queen herself, Patsy Stone. (Although maybe we should have just called it the Joanna.)

It’s one of my absolute favourites, and in person it’s stunning. Like every Dream Coat, it’s made to order and cut to your height.

The Dream Coats are officially here ✨

Our first campaign images, and a chance to tell you where these coats come from.

Second Stories is rooted in vintage, and this range began with some inspiration from my favourite vintage coats, starting with the Afghan. This is The Marianne, named after the incomparable Marianne Faithfull. Our longest silhouette, in super soft suede and leather with furrier hook and eye fastenings hidden in the trim. Quiet power dressing with a rock and roll soul.

Every coat is made to order, so we can adapt the pattern to you where needed, and it’s part of our zero waste approach. They’re investment pieces, which is exactly why the quality is never compromised.

We’re setting up shop at HOST, 658 Midland Road, for a three day pop up next weekend and this time we’re not doing it alone.

Friday 25th September, 4–8pm we’ll kick things off with welcome drinks, then we’re there all weekend: Saturday 10–5pm and Sunday 10–4pm.

Ahead of the official launch, after quite a few dm’s we opened our books early. That means you can pre-order and beat the queue before the collection officially drops at the end of the month. Just over a week later, we already have 12 Dream Coats on order.
