πš†πšŠπšœπšπšŽ π™½πš˜πš πš†πšŠπš—πš π™½πš˜πš π™Ίπš’πšπšŒπš‘πšŠπš›πš’ πš‚πšπšžπšπšπšŽπš π™Ώπšžπš–πš™πš”πš’πš— 𑁍My Kitchari recipe caused a bit of a stir in my stories recently so I made another batch and have gone full aesthetic using a roasted pumpkin as an edible bowl!For those that are not familiar - Kitchari is a traditional Ayurvedic dish known for its cleansing properties: due to its nourishing, anti inflammatory and easily digestible base ingredients.I use a mixture of mung beans, black lentils, Basmati red & brown rice, spices galore, chopped veggies, ginger, garlic and coriander. It’s like a trip to a spice farm in your mouth!!It’s also deemed one of the top comfort foods in India. The bonus is they’re also gluten-free and refined sugar-free and you can feel amazing because each ingredient is nourishing your body. (As you can see in the video I’ve added lions mane mushroom cacao from @bristolfungarium - epicness!) πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„2 tablespoons raw cacao powder 1 tablespoon chocolate lions mane (optional) 1/2 Cup Almonds1/2 cup walnuts 1/2 Cup hazelnuts 1/2 Cup Desiccated Coconut1 Cup Medjool Dates 1 Tsp Vanilla Extractπ‘πšπ¬π©π›πžπ«π«π² π‰πšπ¦ π‹πšπ²πžπ«:2 Cups Frozen Raspberries2 Tbsp Chia Seeds1 tablespoon maple syrup 𝐓𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 Toasted mixed nuts (crocante)Toasted Coconut shavings Pistachios Place all base dry ingredients into a food processor (apart from the dates and vanilla) and process until you get fine crumbs - with a little texture. Remove, add to a mixing bowl. PurΓ©e the medjool dates with vanilla and mix into chocolate nut mixture. Line small baking tray with paper and press down the mix with your hands. Meanwhile place all raspberry jam ingredients into a bowl and mash together until soft and jam like. Spread over the raspberry layer on the top of the brownie base.
