🥋 WHAT A TECHNICAL MMA ENCOUNTER!

Zachariah “Merkz” Gardner vs Jobe Hazlewood was exactly what we expected — a highly technical battle between two fighters looking to prove whose all-round MMA game was superior.

Although both fighters work extremely hard on their ground game and are more than comfortable taking the fight to the mat, they decided to stand and trade for the majority of this one.

Jobe had plenty of success with his awkward and unpredictable striking style, making himself difficult to read, while Merkz showcased his slick boxing, putting together some beautiful combinations and finding his rhythm as the fight progressed.

It was a fascinating technical battle between two talented young fighters, but when all was said and done, Merkz came away with the victory! 🏆

The win moves Zachariah Gardner one step closer to the prize he’s been chasing, with a much-anticipated FightSeries championship bout now on the horizon. 👀🔥

The Featherweight division is heating up… and Merkz is coming for that belt.

WHO WANTS TO SEE HIM FIGHT FOR THE TITLE NEXT? 🏆🥊

The two biggest juniors on the card went head-to-head as Kyran Rogers from @kstyle_muay_thai took on Dorian Paprocki from @shirekings_ in what was arguably the hardest-hitting junior bout of the evening! 🔥

With both lads weighing 70kg+ and being over 15, their coaches requested that the body shields be removed — and we were happy to oblige. This added a whole new dimension to this junior body-contact bout and allowed both fighters to showcase more of their skills.

Both lads put on a fantastic performance, gaining valuable experience that will be hugely important as they continue their Muay Thai journeys. 🥊

For junior fighters, that experience is what it’s all about, and we have no doubt we’ll be seeing both Kyran and Dorian back on a FightSeries Promotion card in the future.

Keep an eye out for these names… 👀🔥

🔥 DAISY TUDOR VS AMIYA-JADE GRIFFITHS 🔥

After their original bout was cancelled back in December, Daisy Tudor and Amiya-Jade Griffiths finally got the opportunity to test their skills against one another inside the cage at FS11! 🥊

And they certainly didn’t waste it! This was a fast-paced, kick-heavy K1 battle from start to finish, with both young fighters showcasing their skills, composure and determination.

Both Daisy and Amiya-Jade left absolutely everything in the cage on the night, delivering a brilliant bout and showing exactly why the future of the sport is so exciting. 🔥

👏 Huge respect to both young fighters!

“She’s not hurting you, is she?”
“No.”
“Well then, get on with it!” 😂🔥

Absolutely love this moment between Lacy Stone and her coach.

A great coach understands their fighter. They know when to encourage, when to calm things down, and sometimes when to give them that little push they need to dig deeper.

This moment brilliantly shows that the coaches at @fortitudothai know their fighter inside and out and, when it mattered most, knew exactly what Lacy needed to hear to get the very best out of her.

That’s coaching. 🥊🔥
