I thought my mom was just giving a speech…

Instead, she surprised all three of her daughters with the most meaningful gift.

We all got engaged in under a year, so she took the wedding dress she wore when she married my dad and repurposed it into three special keepsakes one for each of us as we begin this new chapter.

I promised myself I wasn’t going to be that girl who posts nonstop about her engagement…💍

But prepare to be sick of me, because these photos turned out even better than my Pinterest board 🤍 even with the table runner as the scarf.

From the vision, to the details, to the love thank you @alexanegvesky_photography and @contently_yours_ for bringing it all to life so perfectly.

And of course, my favorite part: marrying a writer who turns every moment into poetry… including a little pit stop at @maxwellpark_shaw where we had our first date four years ago.

my husband requested that we share our first dance, so here it is 🤍✨

after 6.5 months of practicing, we finally got to dance to a song that has always been so special to us. when aaron proposed, he told me, “there’s nothing i like more than rewrite the stars with you.” 🥹 so of course, we had to make it our first dance song.

now we have a little party trick for the rest of our lives. 🪩🤍

THE MOMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR… THE BRIDAL ROBE REVEAL 🤍🥹👰🏻‍♀️

Back in August, our story went viral and even made it into @people when I shared my mom’s incredible surprise at my bridal shower: she had her 38-year-old wedding dress transformed into three bridal robes for my sisters and me to wear on our wedding days. 🥹

And now… the final result is HERE! Seeing this beautiful piece of my mom’s love story become a part of all three of ours is something I’ll cherish forever. I felt SO beautiful wearing it on my wedding day, and I truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to start the morning. 🤍

A dress that witnessed my parents’ love story is now a family heirloom that will forever be a part of ours. 😭

Sometimes you get to be part of something truly special. 🤍

You get to know a couple, their families, and the little details that make their story their own—and together, you create a magnificent vision for their wedding day.

I feel so fortunate to have been part of this beautiful couple’s celebration. Here is just a sneak peek of the gorgeous pieces we created for them in the stunning Crystal Plaza ballroom. Behind every floral detail were months of conversations, excitement, and trust that made bringing this day to life feel so personal.

Saying goodbye after a wedding can be one of the hardest parts of what I do. When you’ve built that connection, you miss having their celebration to look forward to.

But I like to think that each beautiful goodbye makes room for a new beginning—for another couple to get to know, another story to become part of, and another vision to bring to life. I carry a little piece of each one with me. ✨
