// flattered to have my home studio featured in @archdigestindia this pride month - funnily just a week before I start shifting homes & move into a new space in Delhi!

I’ve poured a lot of love into this place & in return it’s facilitated so much of my growth as an artist. I’ve been feeling excited & sentimental about moving all my things and setting up a new home + studio.

So this article & feature feels like a full circle moment of sorts ⭕️ marking the end of an era & the start of a new chapter 🐆✨

Our homes are a representation of who we are. We curate our space to resonate with the most unfiltered versions of ourselves. As Pride Month 2023 wraps up, AD India steps into the homes of people across India championing the queer cause and leading LGBTQ+ representation. They are vocal, they are bold, they are fearless. And when giving us a peek into their homes, they presented their truest selves – lounging in cotton sarees, nonchalantly sipping coffees on their couches, and opening up about their space with wistful smiles. We asked them to let us into their happy place, their favourite corner in the home, and this is what they had to say.

// been wanting to do a red oxide + black & white terrazzo bathroom since so long, always thought it was maybe too bold a choice! But this time in Goa, seeing how this one turned out was such a delight to my eyes.

It’s also giving me very earthy vampire energy, during this Nosferatu season! 🧛🏽‍♂️ 🩸

Our store was shaped through a shared way of looking at space and objects and how people move through both.

Designed and built by @sectorform, led by the very talented @0sheen with a focus on clarity rather than spectacle, and on creating a setting that feels natural to spend time in.

@studiolokeshdang @lokesh.dang thank you for the lovely images 😘

The result is a space that opens up gradually and allows the objects and the architecture to be experienced together.

Visit us at MG Road, Sultanpur (Opp. Pillar No. 92), New Delhi.

We’ve spent months thinking about how these objects would live.

Watching them naturally become part of conversations made the space feel complete in a way no planning ever could. And that’s all we hoped for.

// NAO or Never ~ is what crossed our minds, when we decided to finally post photos of this Catamaran we designed for @vianaarhomes back in 2020!

Never thought we’d get to design a freakin boat someday at @sectorform - so here’s a little sneak peek of The NAO (a 45 feet long Catamaran) sailing the seas & rivers of Goa.

Fluid interior details in the next post ⚓️

// the very breezy yet cozy first floor lobby of Villa Fado - designed to conceptually mimic the essence of a nest 🪺🍃 with the repeated use of cane as seen on various surfaces.

Filled with natural light, yet a soft shelter from the sun, with bird’s-eye views of the surrounding trees on both sides. A very wood & cane crafted palette, broken only by pops of green flower textured glass & the grounding black basalt.
