// I’m finally ready to show y’all my latest creation & the result of many meditative meanderings. As many of you might’ve noticed, I’ve been working on this for a while now, over many moons and lovely reclusive nights 🌚✨ I’m almost sad that it’s over / been completed, coz this literally became a therapeutic piece for me to work on. I started off with that sassy eye 👁 and from there it just became an evolutionary journey of intertwined elements coming together (which I’m still making sense of tbh). I would almost subconsciously draw something and watch it come alive as I drowned myself in the process of meticulous shading over hours ~ almost like manual daydreaming. As I stack this one away, I’m bursting with excitement to start my next meditative musing in charcoal & ink (a medium I’m innately drawn towards and growing to love more than ever before) 🐾 on a panel possibly larger & taller than this one! {swipe for details & sultry sad face} #godsandgeishas by @0sheen
// Space Samurai 01 - the first from a series of printable #digitalart posters i started working on as an experiment, while contemplating ways in which i could merge my #performance & #visualart practices. It became a fun self-explorative journey, involving a play of photography & graphics, to create abstract @sectorform like environments with me doing my usual circus-ninja shizz in there! 🥷🏼🔥 more on this soon ~ . . . . #spacedesign #graphicdesign #illustration #digitalcollage #itsnicethat #certainmagazine #juxtapozmag #grafikradar #visualsnack #performanceart #graphicart #urbanabstractions #graphicplanet #designinspiration #visualfodder #behance #thedesigntip #grafik #visualgraphic #digitalarchive #grafikgalarie #graphicdirectory #grafikfeed #abstractmag #osheenobsessions by @0sheen

08.08 || saturday || strangr nights saturday at our vv home slots in an eclectic set by dj and prod @zokhuma, who brings an explorative line-up of electronica & house before getting a bit more steamy later in the night. “ hang w friend, a yummy cocktail & a little jig” is what arman promises. also in the course of the night our drag divas from @dragalactiq come by dasht gard for round two, this time a routine that take us into more intimate spaces of drag. osheen & dame imfala subvert the lens and brings backstage to the fore by revealing the performance before the performance - where influencer culture meets backstage kiki, and the trans-mutation is as chaotic as it is sacred ft projection mapping & tech translations by @adhiwave . . . . . ^ strangr is a safe space & we request you to both hold that truth & participate in making us a safe space. ^ do remember we don’t take ressies, so come early & stay late. ^ if you are holding space for friends, we strongly request 85% of your party arrives w/n 15 mins. otherwise & especially during heavy hours, we will have to give that space up for other guests. ^ our Vasant Vihar space is small, and we do have to shut entry at capacity. ^ thank you for understanding & your love. 5, Basant Lok Market, Vasant Vihar (next door to greenr cafe, enter from the gully behind) by @0sheen

Walking into Ishaan Bharat’s (@0sheen) home-studio in Delhi’s Saket feels a bit like watching a BTS video of a creative person’s Pinterest boards come to life. The space is both practical and theatrical–much like its occupant–and refuses easy categorisation. Depending on where you encounter the 35 year-old Chandigarh-born creative, they are an architect, drag artist who goes by the name Osheen, aerial performer, visual artist, and founder of the queer performance collective Dragalactiq, as well as of their architecture and visual design studio, Sector Form. The internet would take one look at Bharat’s résumé and classify it as ‘multihyphenate behaviour,’ but the creative professional arrived at this way of living and working long before it became a trendy Instagram bio descriptor. At the link in bio, @arushi491 chats with the polymath about why choosing one lane was never an option. Photography and Videography: @piyush_more ~ As The Nod turns two, all this month we will feature an impressive array of all-rounders: a brand strategist with an alter ego, a BAFTA-nominated actor dabbling in prog rock, a hustler with more jobs than days in a week, an architect who’s a drag queen, and more. Join us as we explore ‘The Age of the Poly-Professional’. ~ by @0sheen
