We’re thrilled to announce that Singing Our Futures will host a very special yarning session on Yuggera and Turrbal Country in Magandjin at this year’s Bigsound Festival as part of the @goolwalgoolwal program! 🎶

Join us on Tuesday, September 2nd, at the Sound Garden from 1pm- 2pm as we welcome five young emerging First Nations artists in conversation. They will delve into the art of songwriting and the significance of storytelling through music. They will share their inspirations, including the influence of the great late Uncle Archie Roach AC and how his legacy program, Singing Our Futures, has come to life.

Artists include: @wren.arkose @naomidiane @sedriece_kickett @torresgreen_ @aria.clemmet

Hosted by award winning First Nations artist and music producer: @candicelorrae

For those who may not know, Singing Our Futures is dedicated to uplifting our young talent, providing them with the mentorship, encouragement, and space they need to thrive. We believe in the power of music to connect us and celebrate our identities, and this yarning session is a beautiful opportunity to come together and share in that spirit.

Come and say Hi 👋🏽 Can’t wait to see you there! 🎶✨
