One of the joys of calling the Gold Coast home is that friends from different parts of Australia and the world often visit, giving me the chance to reconnect with friends from near and far.

It has been special to be part of this journey since 2020 @goldcoastknights witnessing the growth of a multicultural cricket club into a community cricket club that brings people together through a shared love of the game.
Attending the inaugural season launch of the Pimpama Jacobs Well Cricket Club – pimpamaknights was a proud moment. Wishing the club, its players, families, sponsors and volunteers every success as they begin this exciting new chapter. Here’s to many more years of cricket, connection and community spirit! 🏏 taken in Pimpama City Football Club by @see_ma_insta

A massive thank you to our incredible sponsors Monarch Place & Azzura Group for supporting the evening and helping us create a platform for businesses and professionals to connect. 🏙️

A special thank you to our amazing panelists and moderator for sharing your experiences, insights and entrepreneurial journeys with the room. Your stories sparked some incredible conversations!

And of course, a huge shoutout to Grantz Catering for the exceptional food and hospitality you absolutely delivered! 🍽️

📸 Swipe through some of the memories from the night.

Here’s to building connections, creating opportunities and growing together.

A great evening at the @theiabca x @tradeinvestqld Welcome Reception, celebrating the start of the 2026 IABCA Australia Immersion Week at @queenslandparliament

Valuable insights from Minister Ros Bates MP and Consul General Neetu M. Bhagotia, followed by an engaging panel discussion on strengthening Queensland–India trade, investment and business ties.

Great to catch up with @g_talks and looking forward to reading his book, Culture, Karma and Currency: Demystifying the Business IN and OF India.

Thank you @soniasgandhiaus IABCA and TIQ for a wonderful evening! taken in Queensland Parliament by @see_ma_insta

As @griffithuniversity alumna and Shadow Minister for Sport, I was thrilled to be at the Leaders Lunch to talk about the road to Brisbane 2032 Olympics.

We produce more than our fair share of champion athletes and the future is bright for young Gold Coasters as we prepare for their future.

It was wonderful to attend Building Belonging Together: Turning Welcome into Meaningful Belonging as part of Welcoming Week.

A meaningful opportunity to reflect on how we can create communities where everyone feels welcome, valued, connected and supported to belong.
