They say "if you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far, go together" ... The opposite is probably true for racing @firefiteurope 🤣 unless you're @samcushing12 then you should totally go alone 😉 but I'm forever greatful for you letting me slow you down as a tandem! 🐌
My favourite tandem will always be with @treewaplington 🥈 ❤️ 👯‍♀️

The win wasn’t standing on the podium. It was standing on the start line. 🖤

After a busy year of racing, suffering injuries and having battles with my own mind, just getting to that start line was my victory.

Somewhere along the way this year, I lost myself a bit and my love for this sport. My confidence took a hit, my performance dropped, and I started questioning whether I still belonged. Stepping out onto a course in a sponsored kit not wanting to disappoint anyone including myself is a tough mindset to shake, one that nearly called it quits on this season completely.

It’s hard to accept a regression in performance when you know what you’re capable of. But maybe the win isn’t always the time, the PB or the podium. Sometimes, it’s showing up when your confidence is at its lowest and proving to yourself that you do still belong. You can still do this.

The confidence will return. The strength will come back. I won't let one difficult season define what I’m capable of.

For now, I’m taking the win that matters most: finding myself again, surrounded by my people 🫶🏼

This isn’t the end after all, it's a new beginning...

Always forward. 🔥💙

❤️🚒 HOW ARE YOU? 🌍

Three simple words that could mean so much.

Firefighters from around the world have come together to ask one important question in different languages — How are you?

This isn’t just about firefighters. It’s about everyone.

Too many lives are lost to suicide, and too many people struggle in silence. We wanted to do something to remind people that they’re not alone.

Sometimes a simple question can start a conversation that changes a life. ❤️

Check in. Ask the question. Listen to the answer.

🌍 Different countries. Different languages. One message.

SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH 🖤

Some days, moving forward feels impossible.

But you don’t have to figure out the whole road.
Just take the next step.

Keep moving.
Keep talking.
Keep showing up.
Keep looking forward.

Whatever today feels like, it doesn’t have to define tomorrow.

ALWAYS FORWARD. 🖤

Check in on your mates. Start the conversation. Be there.

6.09.26 @united_911climb in Atlanta USA @braves stadium. Alongside 234 firefighters from the UK and Ireland and hundreds of our American colleagues and members of the public. Climbing 110 floors (the height of the world trade center) in full firefighter PPE in memory of the 343 firefighters who never returned home on September 11th 2001 and the 400+ who have lost their lives since that day as a result. @terryfarrellfundga

What an unbelievable thing to have had the opportunity to be a part of on the 25th year anniversary of such a tragic day! 🚒 🔥 A reminder to never get complacent, never take a day for granted and a promise to never forget their names!

Oh P.S it was about 37° 🥵
