Growing up, I looked forward to my family’s annual tradition of seeing the Christmas trees on St. Alban’s Road and trick-or-treating in the neighborhood because this was where you got full-size candy bars (king-size on occasion, too 🤫!) 🍫

I have fond memories of going to open houses here (that’s what we did on our free time 🤣). Unintentionally, my parents instilled in me a love and curiosity for real estate. The one home with the backyard pool and its curvy slide will be the one that forever got away 😭.

As a kid, I was in awe of these homes, their beauty and stature, the warm lights and mature trees that surround.

I still am to this day, and it’s wild to think that as a grown adult and now with a family of my own, I will soon be calling San Marino home.

It’s going to be some time before we move in because as you may know, @bsongo and I love a good project. 👷🏻‍♀️🔨 👷🏻‍♂️We’re excited to make this one ours. 🏡

With our team spread out across California, it is always so special when we can gather all together, especially with so many team members welcoming new littles ones to their families this year!

This year’s team retreat focused on community stewardship and the importance of connecting with the people and communities within the neighborhoods we live in and love.

As a team with deep roots in Oakland, it gave us great joy and pride to spend the day exploring and supporting local businesses in neighborhoods close to our hearts.

Our clients were in the process of purchasing a new property while this Glendora home was being prepped to go on the market. A unique situation arose: to obtain their loan for their purchase, this home had to go on the market. Once they closed on their new home, we quickly took the listing off the market and arranged for prep work.

With smaller square footage and less favorable location, our strategy was to showcase the home’s potential despite its challenging qualities. We advised our clients that full-home staging would deliver a strong return on investment by presenting every space at its best. This ended up being a rewarding endeavor, with those who visited complimenting the home and saying it looked fresh, modern, and chic. The home eventually attracted the right buyer, who toured it 3 times before submitting an offer!
