Celebrated German Unity Day at the Wende Museum this evening. Great to reconnect with Consul Generals Gerardo Fueyo (Spain), Andrea Sasse (Germany), and Raffaella Valentino (Italy)!

After a week-long hiatus to paint not one, but two, murals - in Palmdale and Boyle Heights, the can't-stop-won't-stop @therobertvargas resumed work yesterday afternoon on the 12-story "The Storm is Coming" Chargers mural on the north side of the @doubletreetorrance. Stop by and see the master muralist work his magic - all freehand - no grids, no projection!

Faces first! @therobertvargas always starts with the faces and then works the rest of the mural around that. You can see him referencing the image on his phone and then sketching it with paint. He uses no grids or tracing - everything is entirely freehand! 💛💙⚡🏈🖌️

Can't stop won't stop - that's @therobertvargas motto! See him in action at the @doubletreetorrance (north side), as he paints a larger-than-life "The Storm is Coming!" Chargers mural. Unveiling - 10:00 AM, September 8th. 💙💛⚡🏈🖌️
