Introducing:

Massawe was raised on the southern slopes of Kilima Kiaro, where Chagga homesteads cling to the mountain like living archives. From an early age, he learned the mountain as others learn scripture, its paths, seasons, and silences, guiding climbers along routes his ancestors had walked for generations. But alongside mapping ridges and ravines, Massawe memorized genealogies, tracing family lines the way one traces rivers downhill.

Introducing:

Mkwavinyika bears the name of Chief Mkwawa not as ornament, but as obligation. His lineage served the Hehe not as warriors alone, but as battlefield adjudicators, those who determined when war was just, when resistance was sacred, and when bloodshed would betray the people it claimed to defend.

Introducing:

Mapunda (one who carries luggage ) was born into a Yao merchant lineage known less for conquest than for restraint. Generations before her, her clan withdrew from the slave trade, turning instead to cloth, lake fish, and long distance exchange that sustained communities without breaking them. From her mother’s line, she inherited authority in a matrilineal world where power moved quietly through women’s hands.

Introduction :

Subhai (one who is a friend) was shaped by the open silence of the Ngorongoro and Serengeti plains, where Maasai law is lived rather than written. Raised among pastoral nomads, he learned early that property is cattle and honor is survival, guarded through discipline and collective responsibility. His passage into manhood followed uncompromising codes: silence during circumcision to prove endurance, obedience to elders to prove wisdom, and loyalty to the community above the self.

Zawadi (one who is gifted) grew into prominence within the Zaramo community through attentiveness rather than proclamation. Raised among khanga-clad women and the steady rhythms of communal life, she learned early that harmony was not enforced but practiced.

Introducing:

Vanijaliwa (one who is endowed) was born into a silence so complete it unsettled the night, no drums, no songs, only breath and waiting. Among her people, such a birth meant the child arrived already listening. Vanijaliwa was apprenticed to three generations of women elders who taught her not law as command, but law as memory, how spirits arbitrate when words fail, how communities repair themselves after harm, and how to distinguish crime from moral imbalance. By adulthood, it was said she could hear disputes forming in the body before they reached the tongue.

The hand is the controller.

Kinect reads the room in depth, we pull the hand as a live XYZ point, feed it into a Particle #SOP as a force, and thousands of particles respond in real time, scatter on an open palm, gather on a closed one! Nothing is pre-rendered, there's no video file. The image only exists while someone is moving!

Where it belongs: expo booths, conference openers, museum galleries, festival stages, product launches, fan zones. All of those rooms currently run a looped video and a loop can't answer you.

Early study, Building it properly.

Introducing:

The Judge ( Mwanahekima Bin Busara ) was not built to replace justice, but to remember it. Conceived as an African AI humanoid, he is the living archive of centuries of indigenous legal thought, systems of justice refined long before courts had walls or laws had paper.

Saturday, 150 students, one ocean.

@mkonekti and @sanamare.organisationtanzania ran their Pre-World Cleanup Day at Alliance Française Dar and asked us to bring #vr for the students. We brought Heroes of the Indian Ocean, our 360 film on the reefs and fishing communities off the Tanzanian coast.

Most of these kids live near the ocean and had never seen under it, a five minutes on the reef changes how you think about what's out there.

Full film at docu.seedexr.com (link in bio)

Baraza , an immersive-futuristic 8-10 minute VR tribunal experience set in 2050 where humans stand trial before sentient AIs an age where AI is has achieved singularity. The participant becomes the defendant, facing a case brought by artificial beings who claim harm, exploitation, and denial of dignity. The court is presided over by Ubuntu-Bot, a generative AI judge built and inspired on African communal justice systems i.e Ubuntu, where justice emphasizes restoration, collective responsibility, and dialogue rather than punishment.
