Today is the 10th Anniversary of the Cursed Wolf's first appearance upon canvas..The Cursed Wolf has persistently appeared in works I've produced in automatism. In the last ten years I have produced over 250 artworks in acrylic, ink, and mixed media depicting this creature. This would be my longest-running series and largest collection of work, ever-growing....Each is a cathartic depiction of my emotions; a portrait of my interior. Creating these has since taught me invaluable lessons of recognizing and naming my 'loud' feelings, conquering social anxiety, and practicing public speaking..This rendention has also become my most-popular, collected piece. I've been eager to share good news about Finnegan! ❤️‍🩹He is doing remarkably well despite his Parvo diagnosis yesterday. I suppose we caught it early, because he seems to be bouncing back incredibly. With supportive care, fluids, and anti-nausea medications, he has stopped puking and was able to hold down water and even a little bit of food this afternoon! He's also found his spirits again and is yapping, howling, and bouncing like his normal self again. ☺️We are still holding our breath and taking things one day at a time. So much can change in 24 hours and he's certainly not out of the woods yet. So far things are looking promising, but we are cautiously optimistic and taking it one day at a time. 🤞If you have been praying, keep praying! It's working. I'm sad to say, Finnegan tested positive for Parvo this afternoon. He was tested on Monday and it was negative. But today, he was clearly very ill, listless, vomiting excessively, and refusing food.At this moment, we do not know what his fate will bring. Parvo virus is extremely contagious and often fatal for young puppies.This would not have happened if his neglectful owner gave him the bare minimum care. Vaccinate your dogs, folks. And please... pray for Finnegan. by @seedystudios
