Be in the gorgeous Utah mountains and enjoy a fun event.

@snowbird annual Oktoberfest only has two weekends left; so get to it!

Why we love it:
Food: I’d say their food improves every year. Don’t bother with the tent food (sigfried’s downtown has the best German food). Their stand food was really good this year. Legit the best pretzel and cheese I’ve ever had and the turkey legs were bomb. Also, soda station this year if you aren’t into beer!

Family activities: I’ve never gotten the pass for the activity’s there; it’s pricey. Looks very fun! I think you’d be better off doing the alpine stuff not during Oktoberfest due to crowds.
HOWEVER, we love the free bunny hill lift, and my kids love the entertainment and little market! The tent also has fun dancing and games if you can get a spot.

Tips: go before it opens for better parking and less lines.

WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY

Phewww, It’s been a minute. Life has been chaotic and I can’t believe tomorrow is October 1 😱

Anyways, here are some delicious bites I’ve had lately.

• Milly’s Philly from @millys_subs
• huckleberry cheese cake from @mackenzieriveridahofalls
• huckleberry square ice cream from Berry’s Gas station in Swan Valley, Idaho. Apparently, I have a thing for huckleberry.
• carne asada tacos from @taqueria_el_jaripeo_
• amazing celebration dinner at 7880 club at @steinresidences
•ahi tacos from @lakeeffectslc
• crispy tuna rice from @mintsushiutah
Another theme I see with spicy tuna 😋

I have a new Thai spot for you!!

@kinsen_thai_tapas just opened a cozy spot in Holladay; and you are going to want to check it out.

They have delicious curry dumpling, tender beef short ribs and tasty noodles. Also; i grabbed a lychee martini and it was the perfect flavor to match with dinner 🍸

Have you been yet??

Grateful to be able to travel ✨

I had the best weekend with my family. A really good reminder that micro joys can help drown out those macro griefs

@parkcitymuseum worked in overtime to create an amazing app to tour the history of the area (app is called travel story’s). I had no idea about the history of the old mining town so this was so fun to explore. The app acts like your own personal tour guide. Each stop corresponds to the app and it will actually speak to you like you are on a guided tour.

There are historical markers all over from Main Street to up the mountain. You can hike it (around 7 miles total) or take the lift like we did and cut out the hiking.

This is FREE and would be such a nice activity for kids in Park City.

We grabbed drinks and appetizers at @highwestsaloon after and it was the perfect vibe after learning about Park City’s mining history.
