Last year, 100 women’s rights groups warned that linking s*x attacks to migrants was a ‘dangerous racist diversion.

Most people are r*ped by someone that they know. One quarter of UK adults think marital s*x without consent is not r*pe.

Women’s rights groups have warned against weaponising survivor’s trauma in this way - these include @rapecrisisew @refugecharity @4refugeewomen @hibiscusorganisation .
