Art of loving… Dr. Glover. by @seeme_kiwi

I’m so excited to finally share that this fall, I’ll be returning home to Spelman College, but this time as Dr. Glover, Lecturer in the Department of Biology. 💙

After earning my PhD in Translational Biomedical Sciences, returning to Spelman feels like more than just the next step in my career. It feels like purpose meeting preparation.

I now have the privilege of bringing my experience in science and research into the classroom while pouring into the next generation of Spelman women, including future healthcare professionals, researchers, scientists, and leaders, just as others once poured into me.

There were moments along my journey when I questioned the timing, the detours, and even the path itself. But some things only make sense when you finally arrive at the place they were preparing you for.

Spelman College, C’2013 → Spelman College Biology Faculty, 2026.

God really does write the best full-circle moments. ✨

🎓 A few weeks ago, I graduated from the Health Policy Research Scholars Fellowship—a program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, housed at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

This 4-year journey gave me more than education—it gave me mentors, lifelong friends, and a powerful support system. ❤️

This year, I was blessed to receive:
✨ A $10,000 dissertation grant award
📝 A writing retreat in California
🏆 The Orange Award for my leadership development plan

As one chapter ends, another begins…

One of my leadership goals was to earn an AI certification—and I’m proud to share that I’ve been admitted into the Artificial Intelligence Business Innovation program at Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.

I set goals—and I fiercely pursue them.
This is only the beginning. 🚀
