Today is National Voter Registration Day. Here’s why we’re registering to vote all across the state of Florida

Public schools are only as strong as the people who show up for them. Families for Strong Public Schools registers voters who refuse to let politics undercut the classroom.

Representation starts with a ballot. Engage Florida builds civic equity and power by helping young people become voters, leaders, and organizers who shape the future of their communities.

School board races decide what gets taught and who gets protected. SEE registers voters who know local elections are anything but small.

Equality Florida fights so every Floridian, regardless of who they are or who they love, gets the chance to thrive.

Tampa Bay Abortion Fund helps Floridians access abortion care, no matter the barriers legislators put in our way.

Florida Youth Action Fund is building the next generation of voters who won’t settle for less than what they were promised.

SEIU organizes for the workers who keep this state running, wage justice starts with who’s in office.

The CLEO Institute exists so Floridians never stop fighting for the climate and communities we can’t afford to lose.

PRISM empowers LGBTQ+ young people across South Florida to make their voices heard, starting at the ballot box.

Equal Ground builds Black political power in Florida, because no community should have to fight for a voice alone.

Florida Watch fights disinformation and defends Floridians’ right to the truth, starting with an informed electorate.

Floridians for Reproductive Freedom fights for that same freedom; bodily autonomy, for every generation.

Progress Florida organizes for a Florida where healthcare is a right, not a privilege and voting is where that fight begins.

Happy National Voter Registration Day! We want to know from you why you are registering to vote today. by @seeourpower

ZOOM WITH ZANDER IS SO BACK.

Tonight at 6:30 PM ET, we’re getting together to talk about what happened in August, what comes next in November, and how students across Florida can plug into the work ahead.

Pull UP!!! by @seeourpower

SARASOTA SHOWED UP.

Last week, voters across Sarasota County cast their ballots in all three School Board races, and students spent the summer making sure our community knew when, where, and how to vote.

Two races were decided in August. One is headed to November.

We are incredibly proud of every student who made calls, knocked doors, talked with voters, shared resources, and helped make public education impossible to ignore this election season.

We’re not done yet.

The District 1 runoff will be decided in November, and every Sarasota County voter will have a say.

Stay involved, stay informed, and join us for the next stretch at the link in our bio.

NOVEMBER IS NEXT. by @seeourpower

AUGUST 18 WAS BIG.

Across Florida, students spent the summer organizing around their local school board elections, talking with voters, making calls, knocking doors, and building real local power around public education.

In Sarasota, that work broke through in a way we are still processing, students were everywhere, the community showed up, and now people far beyond our county are paying attention.

We are proud of what happened here, proud of what students are building statewide, and very aware that August was not the finish line.

NOVEMBER IS NEXT.

SEE Alliance is launching the next phase of our nonpartisan voter education and turnout work, and very soon we’ll announce a special Sarasota gathering to celebrate August, reflect on what we learned, and launch the November sprint.

But, for just one more second, we’re going to enjoy this.

GOOOO TEAM!!!! by @seeourpower
