Hello! 👋 I’m Carolyn :)

I’m excited to tattoo you ! I’m an illustrator and mural artist working in the commercial and public art realm ( @seeroro_ ). I’m tattooing now and exploring more personal work centered around East Asian diasporic identity, traditional symbolism married with contemporary graphic design, and mixed in with light-hearted lovable animals !! My style uses fluid lines, natural patterns, and nostalgic colour.

10 Fun things about me 🙂

I have a darling bby angel cat, her name is Mew Mew. If you don’t like cats you will like her and then you will like cats

I live in Vancouver now but I was born and lived most of my life in Toronto.

Red and Blue is my favourite colour combo

I love camping and the outdoors!

Toad is my Mario kart pick

Scorpio sun Aquarius moon Sag rising / death and rebirth is my vibe 🌕🌑

My fav bird is duck. Please add to my duck shrine 🦆

Water bender, water tribe

I love strawberry objects

I have a mini figurine collection and I’m collecting mini furniture for them

~Ok that’s enough! Book a tattoo with me - it’s free rn! Jk

YIN flowers ⚫️⚫️⚫️, non-repeatable, sizing ranges from 3.5-7”, pricing and availability in my booking link in bio sept 5 at noon pst. All flash will be first come first serve (for the most part).

“Passing through Yin” is a collection of drawings I’m currently developing while navigating a season of change. In the depths, I’m acquainted with what grows only in the shadows — void of the vibrant colours I’m used to, but nonetheless full of life, full of energy that dances in circles asking me to let go and surrender control, flow with it… learn its way.

Treasures are discovered in the places I didn’t want to look. Energies, emotions, and blockages took on new shapes and forms.

This season asks me to lean in and learn its nature — its patterns, shapes, forms. It’s a whole other world, bringing a kind of growth that only happens while passing through Yin.
