Turns out, we’ve been mixing it up for a long time.

Different homes. Different clients. Different eras. But the through line has always been there.

For decades, Sees Design has approached interior design with the same instinct: mix old with new, pair antiques with contemporary design, and create rooms that feel collected rather than decorated.

Styles change. Trends come and go. We still believe the best residential interiors are layered over time, and never look like they came from one place.

Install dimmers! The right lighting changes everything. It's softens a room, adds warmth and lets the atmosphere shift. Very few rooms are best enjoyed at full wattage. (And frankly, neither are we.)

Material, maker and origin matter. Knowing who made something, how it was made, and where it came from gives a room depth that can't be mass produced. We look for pieces, rooted in craft, process and provenance. Because a room is shaped by its sources.

We love a statement. And we've certainly never been afraid of more. But even maximalism needs hierarchy. The design trick is knowing what should command attention, what should support it, and how to keep all that personality from becoming noise.
