YESSSSS PLEASE!!

Some may disagree because Google told them they shouldn’t. But here are my intakes!🧐

I have been a hairstylist for 14 years. And it is now 2024. Products are sooo innovative now! What we used 10 years ago, are not the same now. There are now new ingredients in our lighteners and colour that help protect our hair barrier. So basically it’s a lot better!

So coming in with dirty hair that 2-5 old is not necessary anymore! In fact that actually makes it more difficult for us to achieve the colour you want, especially for a pre lightening service.

Why you ask? There is too much oils and build up that actually slows down the process, when the lightener has already have protective bonding agents in it already. Having your hair oily and dirty makes it harder for the lightener to break through, causing your hair to have an uneven slow lift! Which causes us from getting the end results you want.

So please wash your hair a day before with very minimal product in it. No dry shampoo, or heavy oils in it. Clean hair is a must for even maximum consistent lift for ALL my blonde hair babes. 💁🏼‍♀️💕

⭐️ How to prepare your hair for a lightening service ⭐️

* Stop using purple shampoo a week before your appointment.

* Use a clarifying shampoo to take all the build up out of your hair.

* Start or continue to do hair treatments/hair mask. That way this will help to maintain and prep your hair for lightening service.

Colour Correction Time! 💛
I haven’t seen my client in 4 years! So with that being said let me break down her hair history! She had previous highlights done 9 months ago at another salon. And I believe before that has colour her whole head dark red brown. This is her end results! It’s not perfect but was able to achieve a lot more brightness and lightness. 6 Hrs of correcting and another hour of wash and blow dry/style.
