We’d be so much better off if the United States were governed by trees. That’s me trying to be one at @the_re_instititute in 2023. Video by daughter.

Students' site analysis drawings, and starting efforts to move into architectural design. Very difficult to move away from preconceptions. As a long-term teacher, I know when the preconceptions are going to kick in, but I don't know how to stop them. And let them happen and then I steer the students back to their Field stations. Some of the site drawings are beautiful and bleak @bcarchitecture thanks TA @luca_calandri

The wearable field stations and documentation are complete. We move on to a small work of architecture.

Epic day at @radiona_org with a morning forage in the rain and a long afternoon wonderful workshop with such engaged and interesting people. There were many successes. Complex joints, kinetic structures, new construction methods, a reckoning with nature. I think it might be a healthy thing for everyone to "Face Nature." Infinite thank you to the intrepid @deborah_hustic for this amazing opportunity and support. Big thanks to Zvone for tech support. Wonderful to have regular participants over the last years, including @pdgmarina and @underachiever_inc . Thanks to my students at @bcarchitecture for great zoom sessions. Back to NYC. Think about the forests burning around the world and vote to save them ❤️ Thanks Zagreb!
