ROAD TO DENVER | 35-WEEK JOURNEY

I’m starting a new chapter in my life, and I’m bringing you guys along for the ride.

I’m going back into trucking, traveling across the Western 11 states, and documenting my life on the road for the next 35 weeks as I work toward a new beginning in downtown Denver, Colorado. 🖤

Here’s what you can expect:

🚛 Life as an over-the-road truck driver
🗺️ Traveling across the Western 11 states
🌄 Beautiful places, new cities, and life on the open road
🎥 Real, unfiltered moments from my everyday life
📸 Behind the scenes of being a trucker
🖤 The struggles, the lessons, the good days, and the bad days
🏙️ My journey toward starting a new life in Denver

I’m not going to pretend I have everything figured out. I’m just documenting my life, stepping outside my comfort zone, and seeing where this journey takes me.

For the next 35 weeks, you’ll get to follow the journey from the very beginning.

35 weeks. One journey. A whole new chapter.

Welcome to Road to Denver. 🚛🏙️ by @seezynbleeds

A little astronomy photography dump 🌌📸

Cathedral Gorge is a really cool state park in Nevada with these crazy clay formations and narrow canyons. It’s also an awesome spot for stargazing and astrophotography. I couldn’t make it out there this time, so one of my colleagues took those pictures for me.

The solar eclipse pictures are from a week ago, and the moon pictures are from tonight 🌑🌕✨

Some I took myself, some my colleagues took when I couldn’t make it. Either way, I love capturing the night sky. by @seezynbleeds

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and I want to talk about why I’m still here.

There was a time when I couldn’t imagine having a future.

I grew up with instability. I spent years in foster care. I experienced homelessness. I struggled financially. There were moments when I felt like my life had already been decided for me.

I thought my past was going to be my entire identity.

But my life changed.

I started leaving places that no longer served me. I moved around. I took chances. I traveled to different states. I worked jobs that pushed me outside my comfort zone. I met people I never would have met if I had stayed stuck.

Now I’m building a career that allows me to travel around the country.

I’m preparing for new opportunities.

I’m exploring cities I once only dreamed about visiting.

I’m discovering different cultures, trying new food, meeting new people, creating memories, and figuring out what kind of man I actually want to become.

The kid who once wondered if he had a future is now planning one.

And that means everything to me.

My life isn’t perfect.

I still have difficult days. I still have things I’m healing from. But I finally understand that a bad chapter isn’t the whole book.

Sometimes your life has to completely change before you realize how much more there was waiting for you.

I could have become another statistic.

Instead, I became a story.

I survived my past, and now I get to decide my future.

So if you’re struggling right now, please don’t assume your life will always feel the way it feels today.

You haven’t met every person who will love you.

You haven’t seen every place you’ll visit.

You haven’t experienced every version of yourself you’re capable of becoming.

Stay.

There is still a life out there that you haven’t lived yet. by @seezynbleeds

These people made Minnesota so special. ❤️

I came here not knowing exactly what this chapter would bring me, but the people I met along the way made it something I’ll never forget. The conversations, the laughs, the late nights, the dates, the friendships, and even the little moments meant more to me than they probably realize.

Minnesota became more than just a place I lived for a while. It became a place filled with memories and people who genuinely touched my life.

I’m leaving with so much gratitude. Thank you to everyone who made me feel welcomed, cared about, and never completely alone.

Minnesota will always have a special place in my heart because of the people I met here.

I’ll be back. This isn’t goodbye. ❤️ by @seezynbleeds
