A day at Bridal Trunk, in six slides.

On 26 September we opened the doors in Mississauga and the room stayed full all afternoon. Our groom wore gold with pearls and a rose garland, the bride stood beside him, and friends and family came dressed for a proper celebration.

Get close enough and you can see where every thread was placed.

This is zardozi, metallic thread worked by hand, one stitch at a time. Look at the collar, the line of buttons, the way the work climbs up the front of the waistcoat and catches the light when he moves. The turban band carries the same quiet detail, so the whole look reads as one piece.
