It can be stressful to play for your peers, but most of the time they are your biggest supporters. This years final concert had the academists at the @concerto21.akademie on their feet - cheering/dancing/vibing at the back of the room. It was a beautiful reflection of the two weeks that led up to this wonderful moment 💃🏻

Minds are buzzing with ideas, notebooks are overflowing, moodboards everywhere and most importantly… @seida_ensemble is cooking up some pretty epic music. @concerto21.akademie has made us explode with inspiration and forced us to focus on who we truly are and what we really want to do. Let‘s go!

thank you @georg.stirnweiss for these amazing photos! by @seida_collective

A triptych of film from our time at @hawkwood_cft. Looking back on it now we are so grateful to have had these moments together. Time to steep ourselves in the music was really required to bring the type of depth and energy that we want to bring to our concerts. Being in the countryside with loved ones, friends… it brings an additional, freeing element to music making. It inspires in us ideas that bring our performances closer to these types of communities - even a small pub like the Woolpack can set us off, thinking about the possibilities of intimate concerts with local people, with an effort to making direct and personal connections to wonderful likeminded people. by @seida_collective

Wow, I am so blown away at the response we had on Friday night. Two packed concerts with the most attentive listeners, committed musicians and incredible team all working to make this show that I have dreamed of come to life. So exciting to think that this is just the start and that with @seida_ensemble we will be continuing to develop this project. Thank you to @thefruehling, @dd.yskr for amazing work with lighting - so important for a lighthouse themed concert! And of course all the musicians @_aylasahin @emiliaturkanik @juliusbacker and @joep___ by @seida_collective

This is how our journey to the Lighthouse began, rehearsing Britten’s 2nd quartet in the @hawkwood_cft

We spent five days together, having never played as a quartet before, exploring this music but also going for walks, talking for hours, eating together and sight-reading music. It feels so right to be learning music this way - with space, stories, debates, singing, inspiration from our surroundings and beautiful people. If you want to know more about what the Lighthouse means and what it could mean for you, watch this space! by @seida_collective

As summer neared, as the evenings lengthened, there came to the wakeful, the hopeful, walking the beach, stirring the pool, imaginations of the strangest kind—of flesh turned to atoms which drove before the wind, of stars flashing in their hearts, of cliff, sea, cloud and sky brought purposely together to assemble outwardly the scattered parts of the vision within.
