Daini Seikosha #5 (I think). It’s my 1971 7017-6050 Speedtimer. These are stunning watches with the sole purpose of timing rally races, hence its name as a rally timer. The book is one about the history of Saab. This section is on the great Swedish rally driver Erik Carlsson. by @seiko_tod

As promised, my 7018-8000 Daini Seikosha chronograph from 1972 (Daini #3). It’s identical to its sister watch (#2) but with a white dial. by @seiko_tod

Yes these three watches all show (approximately) the same time. The Seiko 7018-8000 (Daini #3) coming soon with its own photo, my Tag Heuer Autavia, and a recent arrival from Sam at #casualwatchtalk. It’s a 24 hour dial Glycine Airman - the “Purist” dial. One rotation is 24 hours instead of two. See Sam’s review at: “24 hour dial glycine” https://share.google/M44JwdSaN9yVJs3Vv. by @seiko_tod

My 1972 7015-6000 Seiko Daini flyback chronograph on its original bracelet. This will be the first of a series about the Daini factory. Worn and Wound did a great article on the Seiko Suwa and Daini factories: https://wornandwound.com/daini-seikosha-seiko-factory/. by @seiko_tod
