Thought I'd do a post about one of our favourite areas in the house that we get regular DMs about: the bathroom and the ensuite 🫶🤍 Below are answers to common questions I get asked regarding our bathroom and ensuite:

◻️ Our tiles are called 'Stario bianco', it is a rectified porcelain tile from European Ceramics. We have them in 600X300 for the walls and 300X300 for the floors.

◻️ Yes we used the same tile for walls and floors and with no feature tiling anywhere as we wanted a streamlined and minimalist look.

◻️ Yes we invested in quite a bit of tiling upgrades. Upgrading to rectified edged tiles is one upgrade. And upgrading tiling extents from floor to ceiling is another upgrade. We also opted for mitred tiling. The results speak for itself. @la_vida_homes_wa tiling team: Mr Moon & crew did an incredible job.

◻️ No we don't have shower screens anywhere in the house. I'm not a fan of cleaning shower screens. I love our tiled nib walls, no regrets.

◻️ No we don't have floating cabinets in the ensuite and bathroom. We only have recessed hobs which give the cabinetry a floating look.

◻️ Yes we have tiled ledges in both the ensuite and bathroom shower area and also have one next to the bath to hold hygiene items.

◻️ The showerheads, freestanding bath, above mount basins and wall faced toilet are upgrades. However the shower, basin, and bath mixers are all part of the builder's range. All the wet area hardwares are in brushed nickel.

◻️ Below are the rest of our selections in our ensuite and bathroom
• tiles • stario bianco • @europeanceramics
• bath, basins, & toilet bowl • @seimaaustralia
• showerheads & mixers • @aldertapware

In other news, we are officially at week 36 since earthworks today. Currently, we are in that holding pattern between PCI and handover where finishing touches & fixes are being attended to transform the house from beautiful to perfectly beautiful 🏡🫶 before keys. Busy busy in the background for us planning our move and post handover trades, liaising with the bank, and work, and life. 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ Happy weekend y'all! 🫶 taken in Perth, Western Australia by @seimaaustralia
