Trump and his allies are using fear to try to silence voters ahead of the midterm elections. Their 45-day ICE operation across California, targeting people with no criminal history, spreads fear in our communities at a time when every voice should be heard.

As we head into the midterms, voters deserve to know where state leaders stand on the issue of care💜

The recent H.R.1 legislation changed Medicaid and now California legislators will help determine what those federal changes mean here at home for caregivers, nursing homeworkers, seniors and people with disabilities.

SEIU Local 2015 and the Sacramento Central Labor Council brought union members, caregivers and care recipients together with Congressional District 6 candidate Dr. Richard Pan for a town hall moderated by SEIU California and SEIU Local 2015 President Arnulfo De La Cruz.

Arnulfo De La Cruz sat down with Dr. Richard Pan to talk about his healthcare record, the impact of H.R. 1, and his plan to keep care at the center of his work in Congress. Attendees also heard more about why SEIU Local 2015 supports Prop. 3 and the fight to protect funding for healthcare, schools and the services working families depend on.
