Went back to 7th grade for the weekend!

One word to describe this weekend would be pure joy! It was filled with so much laughter and silliness and happy tears. I got to see my favorite people and listen to my amazing cousin preach on how to stand firm in our faith; and let me tell you, she is gifted by the Holy Spirit! Best part of all is I got to witness students accept God’s free gift of eternal life! taken in Fall Retreat by @selah_walker17

And just like that the Summer 2025 season comes to an end..

Thank you CWE for everything! I am not the same person I was at the beginning of the summer. I grew as a follower of Christ and became more confident in who I am in Him. I am filled with a joy that can only come from the Lord and can see the change in how I see and treat people.

One of my biggest take aways from camp is just how important community is. Making friends has never been something I’ve been great at, but at camp I had to get out of my comfort zone and talk to people. I truly thrived at camp and by the end I would start a conversation with just about anybody. I am so thankful for friendships that will last for years to come, for deep conversations, and for grieving together but also sharing great times together.

Camp War Eagle, I have fallen in love with you. Thank you for giving me the best summer of my life.
