If you know this event as well as so many of us do, you know that our GRAND FINALE traditionally lands on one of the most infamous nights in Santa Cruz—HALLOWEEN!!! 🎃🔥

And for this year’s finale, do we have an awesome Nite in store for you!!!

Opening the evening will be a true friend of Afrobeats Nite, DJ Selecta 7 (@selecta7), who is sure to come through with some reggae and dancehall vibes—which will be VERY appropriate considering our special musical guests…

A reggae band from a land called Salinas—THE RUDIANS (@therudians)!!! 🇯🇲🎸🔥

The Rudians will hold down the middle of the Nite with a LIVE set before we get into another Afrobeats Nite Halloween tradition…

🎃 THE 4TH ANNUAL AFROBEATS NITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST!!! 🎃

And who better to host the madness than Rachel Maryam Smith, aka the @santacruzbubblelady!!! 🫧👻

There will be ONLY 20 SLOTS available for competitors, so if you plan on stepping into the contest, come ready!

📝 Costume contest sign-up begins at 5:30pm on Halloween night.

🏆 Prizes provided by local businesses! If you own a business and would like to donate a prize for the costume contest, hit us at afrobeatsnitesc@gmail.com.

And after the contest, resident DJ Monk Earl (@djmonkearl) takes over the decks to close not only the Nite—but the entire 2026 Afrobeats Nite outdoor season. 🌍🔥
