Do you talk to strangers in an elevator... or immediately pull out your phone? 📱 Erik Intervado joins the JOFO PODCAST for one of the most relatable social debates everyone has experienced.

Everyone has been in this situation.

You step into an elevator, it's just you and one stranger, and suddenly the next 30 seconds feel awkward. Do you say hello? Pretend to check your phone? Stare at the floor? Or try to make small talk?

In this hilarious clip from the JOFO PODCAST, Erik Intervado joins the guys for a conversation that starts with first dates and quickly turns into one of the internet's favorite debates: elevator etiquette.

The crew discusses why loud restaurants make terrible first dates, whether small talk is becoming a lost art, and why so many people instinctively reach for their phones to avoid awkward interactions. They also debate reading body language, talking to strangers, and whether society has forgotten how to simply acknowledge another person.

Whether you're an introvert, an extrovert, or somewhere in between, chances are you've experienced this exact moment.

👇 Be honest...

📱 Do you pull out your phone?

👋 Do you say hello?

😐 Or do you silently stare at the floor until the doors open?

Tell us your answer in the comments!

👍 If you enjoyed this clip, don't forget to Like, Subscribe, and turn on notifications for more hilarious debates, relatable conversations, and comedy clips from the JOFO PODCAST.

So much to learn
So much to see
Some make it hard when it can be a breeze
We seek peace and to live at ease
Free as can be like the birds and the bees in the trees
Struggle we face is real
Happiness is scarce and it’s easy to steal
There is beauty in despair
Comfort in the fear
Because we know that Jah is always there
‘Cause all I wanna do

Live a little
Breathe a little and gwan enjoy life
‘Cause every muckle make a mickle
No bother watch it trickle ‘cause things soon alright
