The Black Business Edmonton team went on Global News to spread the word about the 3rd Annual Black Business Edmonton Trade Show 2026. This was an impactful experience.

The message was delivered with the team speaking about the many highlights such as 60+ vendors, service providers, and new location in the south at the Beaumont Community Centre. This will allow the Beaumont community to experence a phenomenol marketplace of local black businesses from edmonton and surrounding areas.

Interview with Global News Edmonton. The EMC (Edmonton Multicultural Coalition) team went and gave viewers an understanding about the organization as well as what to expect for the Cultural Fest on July 25, 2026.

This years event will be extra special with a fashion show as a new addition. This fashion show will give a cultural display of models wearing various items in celebration of Edmontons diverse communities.

What an incredible day of learning, connection and women empowering women! 💜
The Edmonton Multicultural Coalition was proud to host it's Third Women’s Empowerment Event, with the theme “Knowledge Saves Lives: Cancer Awareness, Prevention & Early Detection.”
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this conversation could not have come at a more meaningful time.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Juliet Maina for sharing her knowledge and expertise on cancer awareness, prevention and early detection, and to Dr. Rashid from the Alberta Association of Optometrists for reminding us of the importance of eye health and regular eye exams.
We are deeply grateful to the City of Edmonton for funding this initiative.
And most importantly, thank you to every woman who attended. The event was a success because YOU came, participated, learned and supported one another. Together, we are building stronger, healthier and more empowered communities.

recap from the ACES Cultural Fashion Show by Womanition held on September 13, 2026 at Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre Yeg. This was a showcase of all sorts with culture, clothing and entrepreneurship. Women were celebrated and it was such a nice event. There was a contest for one of the vendors to have a chance for an attendee to spend the cash prize of $500 to support the business and @okamabdq won and @achalliance was the business selected. The attendee winner was Crystal Holberton.

So many women came together to be models, organizers and apart of the special occasion in the form of sponsorship. You might recognize one familiar face and its @ibkfitcheck walking the runway in an Obong of Calabar outfit from the ACHA inventory and did he rock it with the organizer, Dorothy Briggs herself. The show was coordinated by Dorine Kielly.

Counting down the days until October 31, 2026. The CEO Round Table event will be happening on Halloween as well as in the daytime 12pm-2pm. This will be a costume optional event.

Calling all entrepreneurs and business-minded people. CEO mindset is what we want. Come and speak with advisors, meet industry people. Hear about success stories with the many programs the CIA has offered to people. Learn about grants and access to capital. Understand what's coming with changes by the government to funding opportunities.

Come and meet with the people behind Canadian Imperial Advantage. This is a casual event that is costume optional but the theme is still come mentally prepared to patronize the vendors, tell others about your business and learn about financial resources that might be available to you.
