What a way to close out Volume 4 and an eventful series. Big love to everyone who helped shape Small Chop Soundsystem this summer.

@blacksabbathsound, @selectoralibaba , @wadadahii , @findingijeoma for creating the soundscape and sonic energy that held each event together.

@bsa.gold and @mikeabrantie for holding us down for Vol. 3 and making it one to remember.

@diaspora_chicago and @the_carteriii for the Jamaican patties everyone was raving about.

SOUNDS OF RELEVANCY

This riddim just slaps from that first snare pop. You know, if I’m keeping it a buck witcha, the I Lue is the best cut on this riddim to me. I know, I know, “ALI BABA YUH MAD?!” From the jump I Lue just rocks tf out of this. That’s a personal favorite.
