I will always have a special love for Paris. 🤍 When I lived there, I loved how there was always something new to discover. I often felt that you could spend years in the city and still never see everything it has to offer. So don’t worry if you can’t visit every place on your list — sometimes simply wandering through the streets is enough. There is always something to admire, and in a way, the whole city feels like one great open-air museum.

📍 Place de la Concorde
✨ Travel tip: Come in the morning if you want a quieter experience and nicer photos, then walk through the Tuileries Gardens toward the Louvre, or head the other way along the Champs-Élysées. Place de la Concorde is much more enjoyable when you make it part of a longer walk rather than just stopping for a picture.

For someone who lived just a short drive from Versailles for many years, it’s a place I’ll always recommend if you’re visiting France. ✨

If you can, visit in spring—the gardens are beautiful, the weather is perfect, and it’s much less crowded than summer. If your dream is to see the gardens at their fullest, late spring or early summer is the ideal time. I would avoid winter, and even autumn if your main goal is the gardens, as parts of them may be closed.

Versailles is so much more than the palace—it’s one of my favorite places to simply wander, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of France. 🇫🇷🌿

If you’re in Edinburgh, definitely stop by The Elephant House Magical Café on Victoria Street 📍 It’s such a cute, cozy little place, and I genuinely enjoyed being there. And of course… I had to try the Butterbeer! 🍺✨ Definitely worth adding to your Edinburgh list!
