And just like that 1.5 months was captured in a 1 minute video and I enjoyed every minute of it!Thank you @nuspiral.collective for always helping out whenever possible and allowing me to even have this opportunity to make a mural for the city.👩🏾‍🎨Thank you to my apprentice @alanaladsonart for adding her natural talent to this mural and reminding me of when "it's time to go home" 🤦🏾‍♀️And last but not least the community! Thank yall for taking time out of your day to talk to me, for bringing me Gatorade, water, buying me lunch, offering your home so I can cool off or use the restroom and letting me know how much you appreciated the beauty that I was bringing to the city. I'm seriously going to miss seeing y'all and having y'all honk at me everyday.😂😂Check out this 95ft underpass mural on the intersection of Middletown Ave and Front Street off of I91 in Fair Haven, CT. As the famous @thesherylleeralph said: "Don't you ever give up on you"I wasn't sure if I was ever going to do another mural. I kept getting rejection emails on a monthly basis for my proposals and decided that maybe it was just a once in a lifetime occurrence. WRONG!Fortunately enough, I had an amazing opportunity come my way to paint a mural for the Torrington DCF office. I almost said no.Actually... I did. More than once.Teaching art at a prison pushed me far outside my comfort zone, but saying yes turned into one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
