POSTS STORIES REELS

I have been thinking a lot lately about how businesses can keep standing out in a world where so many events start to feel the same.

In saying that, not every event works for every industry. Each one needs its own purpose, its own goals and the format should follow.

So I’ve put together eight industries and eight different events I would run if I owned your business.

Swipe through to find yours and let me know which you want to hear more on 🧡

Welcome to the self made garden party 🧡🍹

An afternoon about community, connection and conversations.

Thank you so much to our amazing panelists who all shared to openly and authentically, it was a privilege to hear from you all and have you part of the event.

It was such a beautiful reminder that the juggle is real but so is the power of staying true to yourself. That creating a life or business that you are passionate about is always worth it.

Success isn’t about doing things they way they have always been done, it’s about following what lights you up, embracing opportunities and remembering to press pause when you need it ✨

Thank you to all of you who came along to the Fenwick team for all of your support and all of our wonderful suppliers

9 ideas to change up your next networking event ✨

Let me know which is your fave?

Jessica Watson sailed solo around the world at 16, and last week I got to hear her speak at the @loanright Legacy Lunch 🧡

As always, my phone was full of notes after the keynote, so here they are ✨

Jess is the perfect example of an everyday person who can shoot for the stars and even though she sailed solo, she always recognised it took a whole team to get her there.

Which slide did you need to hear today?

If you are planning a fundraiser or sponsored event, save this ✨

Here’s what made the biggest difference behind the scenes of this one:

🧡 Do your site visit early and walk it like a guest, from arrival to the last drink
🧡 Lock in your sponsors early, so you know your budget before you start styling
🧡 Put every agreement in writing, even the friendly ones
🧡 Give sponsors a moment guests actually want to be part of
🧡 Hire help. Having an incredible event assistant by my side meant I could be everywhere I needed to be (thank you @empowerwithchlo
🧡 Plan the “after”, from post-event drinks to sponsor thank yous, so the impact lasts longer than the lunch

Months of spreadsheets, meetings and site visits all led to raising over $60,000 for our charity partner.

Which part of planning do you find the hardest? 👇

If I was planning your next event, here are a few ideas I’d love to see ✨

This one is all about giving your guests something to remember, from personalised gifting inspired by @saltusgifting to a letter to your future self inspired by @lucelianelles recent event… I know I would love to have a live illustrator at my next one!

Now I need to know which one you’re stealing for your next event 💋

this is why I love events ⬇️

watching my client’s face as I told him we’d raised over $50,000 for @destiny_rescue is a moment I won’t forget 🧡

You’ll see what happens on the day, but not the hundreds of details behind it ✨

A big thank you to @selfeventsco, one of our Community Partners for the 2026 Legacy Lunch 💛

Tara and The Self Events Co team has planned the entire event, from the first idea to the final run sheet. We couldn’t pull off a day like this without them.

Part two event trends because you loved the first one so much but this time make it Victoria’s Secret inspired 🪽

From the practical ideas to the bold statements I am about ready to host a VS themed party after today…

And whether you are hosting a conference, networking event or intimate dinner party there is something for you, but let me know your fave!

I don’t need a reason to celebrate or to bring together the people I love, but one year of our little darling (and of being parents!) was the perfect excuse 🩵🦁✨

Swipe to see the inspo vs reality and highly recommend hosting a birthday brunch, regardless of age 🍊🍾
