24hrs ago I had a client who is a busy mum, building a business whilst working a demanding role and felt like she didn't even exist on her list...

And I get a voice note from her
"I did my brag list yesterday and I felt great! I also had a great time at the event connected with people and even got a collaboration for a retreat"

She also said
"I'm really stepping into embodying the business woman I want to be"

What has changed for her?

She is starting to take notice, lead and TRUST in who she is and what she has ALREADY achieved... she completed her brag list, we put a big light on her potential and her actions and I truly feel this added to how she stepped in that room today

Her life to others on the outside looked good but she wanted so much more for herself and to become more HER leading with self focus, using her potential, adding more fun, trust and confidence

From playing small, not making herself a priority into becoming an empowering, confident, self promoting icon

I was doing well, growing and getting results. So why did I feel so empty?

The senior title, the high praising 1:1's the congratulations from everyone else

But I felt so trapped, sad and worse... EMPTY 😔

Because I had elements of what I loved in an environment that drained me, I knew for years what I wanted to do but I would talk myself out of it

Ever felt like that? Maybe you currently feel like this?

I never believed I was the type of girl to make it successful and a salary slapped on top added security and to me that was "good eniugh"

Until it wasn't

It took my third redundancy to FINALLY become selfish enough to focus on my goal and see what would happen if I just started...

And here I am today still figuring this shit out but way happier in the discovery, failures and wins than I ever was before

Take this as a sign, you don't need to have the perfect plan or all the tools to start creating and move toward what will make you happy

The fun part IS the discovery!

And if you felt like I did ladies, trapped/confused/empty/unhappy in a situation that may look good on paper and you KNOW you are made for more.

You need to take yourself OFF HOLD, work on your confidence and more selfishness to get moving...

The worst part of it is you know you have what it takes to do the damn thing but you still get in your way
