Sometimes we think we need to chase the city to create good photos… but this time the challenge was to stay still. 📸

All of these photos were taken from one single spot: the square.
No walking around. No searching for scenes. No chasing moments.

Just observing, waiting, and capturing whatever suddenly appeared in front of me.

It’s harder than it sounds, because it forces you to train your eye, your patience, and your ability to react to small moments that would normally go unnoticed. But that’s exactly why it’s also such an educational exercise in street photography.

The street is always alive. Sometimes you just have to stop and learn how to see it.

Pain, loneliness, and depression are shadows that, at some point, we all face. They are feelings that surround us, making us feel trapped in an empty void with no way out. Sometimes, the weight of sadness makes us believe we are alone, that no one understands us, that the world keeps spinning while we remain still.

But everything passes. Every storm comes to an end, and even though the road may be difficult, we always find a way to move forward. Pain transforms us, shapes us, teaches us. We become stronger, even when we think we can’t go on.

In the darkest moments, there is always something to believe in. It may be faith, the dreams we still long to achieve, or the certainty that life is always changing. And even if we don’t always notice it, our family—whether by blood or the one we choose—is always there, ready to support us when we feel like we are falling apart.

We are not alone. Life tests us, but it also gives us reasons to keep going. And even if today the pain feels unbearable, remember: every day is a new opportunity to heal, to learn, and to discover that we are stronger than we ever imagined. by @selfmade.cph

Den sande storhed behøver ingen sammenligning; den skinner simpelthen over alt.

Peace of mind is achieved when we accept the things we cannot change and have the courage to change the things we can.

Copenhagen is a photographer’s paradise, offering a wide variety of interesting subjects and picturesque landscapes. On this occasion I want to show you through my eyes some places that I love such as Kødbyen, the Gemini Towers in Islands Bryge and Nærboks Kaktus Tower among others. by @selfmade.cph

The trick is not what you show, is what you make feel. 📸❤️
