AMAZING experience yesterday at the 1st Sneakercon Toronto/Ace of Customs competition. Never have i had to finish a custom in 5 hours let alone with the 12,000 ppl who attended watching my every brushstroke. The concept was all 3 artists get a diff xbox game for inspiration, mine was the newly released Shadow of War. Love my final result but wish i could have took my time on the toebox logo. Everyone loved the xbox buttons on the back heel tab but it wasnt enough to get the win, still a fun and enjoyable day regardless of what happened. The hardest part might have been the interview segments we had to record hahaha, crazy. S/O to @aceofcustoms for the huge opportunity, thanks for letting me rep my city!! S/O to the sponsor XBOX. ✊ S/O @kustoo @thestarrlife for the polite & professional πŸŽ₯ πŸ‘.To my "competitors" @ceezemc (loves Playboi Carti) @jboairbrush (only wants to do timelapse vidoes) y'all are cool dudes! Next time your in Toronto you already know me and my henchman got you @obsines_ hahaπŸ”« #sneakercon #toronto #aceofcustoms #selfmade #torontoartists #torontocustoms #torontocustomizers #canadagotcustomizers #xbox #adidas #nmd #customs #paintorthread #hypebeast #shouldacalledJANEtojameveryyutethere taken in Enercare Centre by @selfmade89__

Heel insert swap on these Royal 1s for my brother @lordjesusmark . I have tons of scrap sneaker parts, so I figured I could attempt this with no previous experience hahhaha! How naive of me, some trial and error but i learned a lot going forward what to avoid. Happy with results! S/O @your3dhomie for the 3D prints! if your into cards, you will definitely want to visit his page πŸ’― #selfmade #heelinserts #sneakerrestoration #asmr #airjordan1 taken in Toronto, Canada by @selfmade89__

Simple soleswap and restoration on these 2009 Air Jordan 11 "Space Jams". Donor soles are from a pair of 2019 Air Jordan Low IEs. Could have printed the heel tab but wanted to test out this new paint and do it myself. Satisfied with the results! #soleswap #airjordan #spacejam #airjordan11 #sneakerrestoration by @selfmade89__

Havnt posted in a minute 😜 2006 Nike Dunk Low 1 Piece - Pony/Spanish Moss After celebrating their 20th birthday, these shoes deserve a soleswap! My BEATERS since college and somehow there is minimal cracking/peeling of the leather!! The QUALITY IS IMMENSE. My theory for the high-quality leather; you can't laser etch onto cheaper leather as it won't burn it will actually melt instead πŸ’‘ S/O to SCISSORS UP in Cali for the soles. #selfmade #canadagotcustomizers #nikedunk #soleswap #laserdunk taken in Toronto, Canada by @selfmade89__

Introducing Nikes first breakdancing shoe, the "JAM TRAIN". Made in collaboration with @futuradosmil , this colorway is inspired by a train piece called "Break" he did BACK IN 1980, 45 YEARS LATERπŸ‘€πŸ‘€ the art comes to life again! Crazy how my brother @lordjesusmark found this SUBWAY ART book by @marthacoopergram randomly on the street and brought it home! 1983 Futura is a rare sight 🀯. It definitely has THE most beautiful graffiti photos that put you back in time! Amazing job @futuralaboratories πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΏβœŠπŸΏ dope concept and reference!! Might be my favorite pair ever for sentimental value ✌️ #Nike #nikejamtrain #nikejamtrainfutura #futura #1980 #fourelementsofhiphop #bboy #bgirl #breakdance #breakdancing #djing #hiphop #igsneakers #sneakers #graffiti #graffitiart #instagraffiti #instagraff #graffitiphotography #streetart #thebronx #newyork #newyorkgraffiti #niketalk #hypebeast #nicekicks #complex #complexsneakers taken in The Bronx by @selfmade89__
