My baby girl passed away at 2:30am today. Bonbon was such a light in everyone's life. I never thought she would leave me this soon. We had so many things we still needed to do.

Bon was a bundle of joy, hair, and cuddles. She helped me navigate life even in the darkest times. I owe so many beautiful memories to her. She taught me to go on walks, to be patient, and to enjoy throwing balls for hours.

My baby was the most beautiful dog, full of energy and love. I can't believe all of this happened so quickly - a month ago, she was playing and enjoying life, but after a biopsy and CT scan to check on a leg injury, she developed autoimmune-meningoencephalitis (swelling on different parts of her brain).

My baby fought until her last breath. She gave us two weeks after her diagnosis to keep fighting with her, but her internal bleeding and low platelets led her to cardiac arrest.

If you know me, you know I love dogs. Bonbon was the light of my eyes and the reason I got up every day. My world turned upside down in a split second.

I'm sharing this because I know she touched so many people's lives. She did not deserve this, but we tried everything possible to save her or buy her time for her to keep pushing.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and helped with the GoFundMe; all the funds will go to the vet bills. We are not sure how to fill this massive void, but we will try our best to honor her memory and remember her in her happiest moments.
