The MRI gave me information I didn’t have at km 25.

Would I continue if I had known the diagnosis? No.
Am I still proud that I finished? Yes.

I’m learning that being able to continue doesn’t always mean that I should. But a risky decision doesn’t erase the physical and mental performance behind it.

Both can be true.

Where do you draw the line between mental strength and self-preservation?
