👏🏻LEAVE INTERNALISED MISOGYNY BEHIND IN 2026👏🏻 ”I love women but they are so scary!” “Men are just so much easier than women” “I don’t know what to say to a/how to flirt with a woman” “but I never make the first move!” … im going to hold your hand when I say this: women. are. people. too. (shocker!) Reducing people to their gender is such a weird way to approach potential new relationships and experiences! Take agency in your life and start treating people as ✨ people ✨. This mindset of “oh well men are easy because xyz and women are difficult because xyz” is not only misogynistic but also deeply harmful to men you are supposedly attracted to and want to be in a relationship with (…yes, I am advocating for my boys today). There is no shame in being a baby gay. It is hard to navigate in a world where we get exposed to The Right Way™ to be in relationships from an early age through fairy tales and popular media, and it is easy to relax into these predetermined roles and expectations we have with our gender assigned at birth, BUT it does NOT need to be this way!! Break out of the system, be your own person, and regard others in the same way! You are not “just a girl” or “just some guy”—- you are YOU!! You get to choose your happiness and your pleasure and your future! Unlearn. Think critically. Live authentically. by @seliquere
