This particular worship song by Rev @eugenezuta is timeless, ageless and everything because over and again, the lyrics remind us that calling Jesus, Yahweh, Yesu consistently in our worship and ascribing all the weighty greatness to him is the way of adoration!!!

#SomethingGreatHappened 🙌🏾 : Sometime last week, I joined three phenomenal women at the launch of their maiden book 📖, titled #DrMummy.

Now, here is the back story and why you need to peep and peer into that book —-

#Storytime 😩: My good friend, Lauraine Darkwah, MCIArb , called me about a month ahead of the launch. She and her friends Sheryl Acquah Laate, PMP and Ernestina Annan, PhD had written a book and they needed an editor, proofreader and reviewer. Now, I was excited about this gig - if you know me you know that I am big on friends achieving milestones and I do my best to be loud about it😃.

But the twist was that this editing gig fast forward became a life-changing read! Yes! 👏🏾

#Women 🔥: These three women did not just write a book. They did not just decide to put together words, sentences, chapters and a volume. No! When I received the digital version to read and review, I was absolutely immersed in it from the very first sentence. These women wrote their joys, achievements and their milestones, but anchored it on the realities that fund and support the glamour of these. Their tears. Their struggles. Their baby steps. The weights they carried. The storms that blew. The systems of humans who held their hands and helped their balance. ⚖️

#Listen 👂: Lauraine, Sheryl and Ernestina told us the truth that a pursuing and having PhD is indeed glorious look. They told the fact that although it is a glorious look, it came at immense and enormous costs that would cause a married mother and career woman to breakdown. And they twisted it. They told us that breaking down was an available option but not a trusted destination - the goal was! The vision was. They made us understand what it means to have your eyes on the prize! 🏆

#Review 🙌🏾: The book spreads its pages beyond womanhood, motherhood and career pursuits. It is simply an inspiring material that instructs you and I to never stop! Stop at nothing because listen, nothing is impossible! You too can - that is the message.

It was a real honour to review this book. And I was inspired one more time to pursue and keep pursuing without giving up. 🔥

For a long time now, I had had this inner struggle of being stuck at busy and not easing up to enjoy the things I love doing. Then a work trip to Kumasi, where I got to actually relax a bit, changed everything. It was a real pause in disguise that re-fired my energy to live beyond just existing in work and chasing cash.

Many of may be at this spot where work has become a condition I call workaholism (@workaholis.mmm )! We are just totally intoxicated with “busy” and living on the edge of expecting what next to keep us busy. And we may have neglected that little care our body, mind and soul needs.

So, I hope and pray that a certain pause like the one I experienced the past week, changes the game for you. But while you read this, don’t forget that you need YOU!

#FunFact 😂: Leading church praise and worship constantly can be the most uncomfortable duty, especially the challenge to not constantly be repetitive in terms of style every other Sunday. Trust me to turn any song including “Da N’Ase” into some quick cook for variety on a Sunday morning praise list!😂😂😂😂 More importantly I am posting this because of @ato_crentsil . Elder, this was less than 4 hours after the stadium😂😂😂😂! How I managed through with all the aches in my body? Only Jesus can save!

PS: O Be Lifted has been a song on my brain since May. It is a crazy reminder of God’s might! Very crazy reminder! 😊🙌🏾
