Palagi na lang bang Ximending?

On my 3rd trip to Taipei, I booked HUB Hotel Zhongshan… and nagsisi ako 😅🇹🇼

Not because I didn’t like the hotel — quite the opposite.

After staying in Ximending on my first two Taipei trips, I finally tried Zhongshan and realized how much of Taipei I had been missing. Cute cafés, great food, shopping, little streets to wander around… definitely an area I’d stay in again.

And apparently, I was also too busy exploring because I didn’t fully appreciate the FREE snacks, ice cream and UCC coffee at the hotel until our last day. 😂

Sometimes your hotel isn’t just about the room. The neighborhood you choose can completely change your experience of a city.

Corporate days ko pa lang, more than 10 years ago, suki na kami ng Amici! ❤️ Minsan, doon pa mismo sa original location nila sa Don Bosco.

Eventually, medyo nagsawa na rin and started exploring other restaurants especially ang dami laging bago.

Ilang years din kaming hindi nakakabalik. Usually, cakes na lang from Cara Mia ang tine-take out namin.

Until recently, we decided to dine at Amici again sa ATC.

And wow, I didn’t realize how much we’ve been missing their food! Especially their yummy focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic dip! 🤤❤️

Syempre ang sarap din ng truffle pasta, aglio olio spaghetti, mozzarella sticks and the prosciutto pizza that you can glaze with spiced honey! 😍

And not just the delicious food ha, the staff, everyone’s super friendly! As in ramdam mo na they’re genuinely happy to be of service to you.

Ang sarap pala balikan ng mga dati nating favorites. Sometimes, all it takes is another visit to remember why we loved them in the first place. ❤️

And because babalik-balikan na ulit, susulitin natin yan with the Gusto card para may 10% discount kada mag dine in and free brewed coffee or tea na masarap i-partner sa Cara Mia cakes nila, at may 20% discount naman kapag birthday month!😍
