Landero then. Landero now.

Inspired by the imagery and sound of his grandfather, Andrés Landero.

To my knowledge, this is the only 45 recording ever released from the maestra,Toto la Momposina y sus Tambores.

It was recorded on August 11th of 1975 in Bogotá and released on the London records label.

These versions of “Julio Moreno” and “Dos de Febrero” are exclusive to this release and are of those raw and special recordings that remind you how timeless her spirit, rhythm, and storytelling truly were.

Thank you for your teachings Maestra, fly high 🕊️✨

Vuele alto 🕊️✨
