“Whisper” The Story from Higure 17-15cas to @blue_doors.

Lewat “Whisper”, @osmenoswer mengajak kita melihat tubuh dari sisi yang lebih dekat bukan sekadar sebagai objek, tapi sebagai ruang untuk memahami momen-momen transisi yang sering kali terlewat.

Melalui fragmen, gestur, keheningan, dan karya tiga dimensi, Wilman mengeksplorasi bagaimana tubuh bisa menyimpan pengalaman dan emosi. Ada jeda di antara setiap bentuk dan ruang, mengajak kita untuk berhenti sejenak, melihat lebih dekat, dan kembali terhubung dengan keberadaan tubuh.

“Whisper” bisa dikunjungi di Bluedoors Kampung Kali, Semarang, mulai 30 September hingga 30 Oktober 2026 dan terbuka buat publik. Come closer, take a moment, and listen to what the body has to whisper.

A look back at the opening of FROM BENEATH by Taufiq Panji Wisesa at Uma Seminyak. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening and shared this moment with us.

The day after the opening, we continued exploring the world of FROM BENEATH with @usk.bali , translating the colours found in Plered clay into watercolour sketches. A simple yet meaningful way to observe how the earth’s natural pigments can inspire new colours, textures, and artistic expressions.

Through this exhibition, Taufiq invites us to look beyond the surface of ceramics and discover the stories held within the material itself. Working with natural pigments from Plered, Purwakarta, he explores engobe—a clay-based pigment developed through research and experimentation into 12 distinct colour variations.

Here, clay becomes more than a medium. It carries the memory of the land, reveals its mineral character, and opens up new possibilities for contemporary ceramic art.

As curator Dr. Deni Yana notes, the exhibition brings together artistic intuition and technical knowledge, allowing materials to reveal their own identity and ecological traces. Imperfections, organic textures, and irregular forms become part of the story—a dialogue between human hands, nature, and time.

The exhibition is still open, and we’d love for you to experience it in person.

Perjalanan panjang @panji_wisesa dalam kesenian rupa dan desain kini hadir dalam pameran tunggal bertajuk FROM BENEATH di @umaseminyak, Bali.

Pameran ini merekam bagaimana Taufiq terus mengeksplorasi keramik sebagai medium yang menghubungkan masa lalu, kehidupan sehari-hari, dan kemungkinan
bentuk di masa depan.

Dari benda keseharian, menjadi artefak.
Dari bentuk tradisional, menjadi tafsir baru.

How can local materials shape a ceramic work?
FROM BENEATH, Taufiq @panji_wisesa explores the clay and natural pigments of “Plered” through ceramics.

At the center of this exhibition is engobe — a clay-based pigment used on the surface of ceramics. Through research and experiments, Taufiq developed 12 different engobe colours, all made from materials found in Plered.

Cracks, textures, holes, and imperfections are left visible — showing the process and the time behind each work.

Come and see how the earth of “Plered” takes shape, colour, and meaning through ceramics.

“Whisper”
the story from Higure 17-15cas to Bluedoors

An art showcase by Wilman Hermana

In my practice, the body is a way for me to understand the space in between the moments of transition that often go unnoticed. I am interested in the body through fragments, gestures, and stillness, and how these simple elements can hold experiences and feelings.
A sitting body, a body forming a line, or a body interacting with an object is not something I see as a scene, but as a state of the body at a particular moment. Through three-dimensional works, I explore the body as a space where emotional experiences can be felt and held.
For me, it is not only the body that matters, but also the space in between. Within this space, there is a sense of pause and silence that invites us to stop for a moment, look more closely, and reconnect with the presence of the body.

Where design takes a sculptural turn.

For this collaboration, Wilman Hermana @osmenoswer reinterprets a @stvmp_studio chair through his sculptural practice, allowing form, volume, and gesture to extend beyond function.

The chair becomes an object of both design and sculpture—an encounter between the functional and the sculptural.
