😅 taken in Librairie Alire by @seminaroj

" Amid this intensity persists a fantasy: that everything might stop, explode, or suddenly shatter the momentum. Some works embody that projection—a release, a collapse, a form melting away, as if to interrupt the flow. Others are filled with repeated, doubled, or fractured patterns, echoes of a world governed by speed and the infinite multiplication of movement. The gesture that produces them is embroidery: slow, time-consuming, patient. Each stitch demands time—a fragile act of resistance against exponential acceleration. The contrast between gesture and motif, between slowness and the intensity of the flow, generates a palpable tension in each piece. " — Cyndie Belhumeur — SUSPENSION EXPONENTIELLE by CYNDIE BELHUMEUR is on view through November 1st, 2025.
