It was one hell of a primary season.

The election went in mixed directions that night, and while the work to build networks of action and solidarity within Central Florida need even more building, the fight for progress in Florida is strong as ever with the incredible success of the Angie Nixon campaign. We’re as energized as ever here in Seminole County, and can’t wait to help elect Angie Nixon as our next Senator! taken in Seminole County FL by @seminoleprogressives

Election Night is here, and we’re celebrating the grassroots movement we’ve built across Central Florida!

After weeks of joint canvassing and organizing, Team Kinter and Central Florida supporters of Angie Nixon have worked side by side to knock doors, connect with voters, and build a people-powered movement. That partnership has been a huge source of support for both campaigns, which is why tonight’s celebration is about celebrating Angie Nixon and her supporters just as much as Marialana Kinter.

Angie will be celebrating Election Night in her hometown of Jacksonville, so we’re inviting her Central Florida supporters to join us in Sanford. Wear your Angie Nixon campaign shirts and come celebrate with us!

Guest speakers:

Dr. Julie Kent, Florida N.O.W.
Ramon Bonilla, Sunrise Movement
Daria Laycock, FL Rising Seminole
Guerdy Remy, Medicare for All Florida
Alexander McCoy, Common Defense
Adam Abutaa, Emgage USA
Fellipe Fischer, FL Young SemDems
Cierre Rodriguez, Seminole Progressive

We’ll also have live music from Tawnee, Comfort and Closure, Foxlair, MIASMA, and DJ TAJ.

Doors open at 6:30 PM.

Catering will be provided by Cocina Maya Mexican Grill & Mezcaleria, with vegetarian options available. We’ll also have specialty Election Night cocktails, including the Kinter Crush and Nixon’s Southern Smash. Non-alcoholic versions are available. Must be 21+ to drink and IDs will be checked.

Sanford Women’s Club
309 S. Oak Ave
Sanford, FL 32771

Come celebrate the volunteers, organizers, supporters, and communities who made this movement possible.

We’ve fought together. We’ve organized together. Now let’s celebrate together. by @seminoleprogressives

Election Night is almost here, and we’re ready to celebrate the power of our grassroots movement!

After weeks of joint canvassing and organizing, Team Kinter and Central Florida supporters of Angie Nixon have built a partnership that has been a huge source of support for both campaigns. We’ve knocked doors together, connected with voters, and shown what’s possible when grassroots campaigns come together. That’s why we want this Election Night celebration to be as much about celebrating Angie and her supporters as it is about celebrating Marialana.

Join us Tuesday, August 18th at 7:00 PM at the Sanford Women’s Club after a full day of phone banking and canvassing. We’ll have food, champagne, a DJ, live music, and speakers from organizations that have supported our grassroots movement.

Angie Nixon will be celebrating in her hometown of Jacksonville, but her Central Florida supporters are invited to join Team Kinter in Sanford. Wear your Angie Nixon campaign shirts and come celebrate with us!

Both campaigns are fighting for Medicare for All, universal childcare, expanding Social Security and veterans benefits, and getting corporate money and special interests out of our political system.
