@themaralagoclub did not disappoint! We had an unforgettable evening at the 1st Annual @fwcofficersassociation Gala!

Inspiring program, incredible company, and a fantastic night celebrating purpose and community. Congratulations to the FWC team on an outstanding inaugural event! by @senator_stan_mcclain

It was a fantastic weekend in Cedar Key attending the annual Seafood Festival and celebrating a major milestone—the 10th Anniversary of the @uflorida/IFAS Cedar Key Extension Office!

Cedar Key’s rich working waterfront is a cornerstone of our coastal economy and heritage. I had a great time catching up with members of the Florida Aquaculture Association to talk about the vital role our local clam farmers and shellfish harvesters play in feeding Florida and supporting our local community.

Thank you to the UF/IFAS team for a decade of dedication, research, and partnership with our hard-working aquaculture industry. Here’s to many more years of working together to keep Florida’s seafood industry thriving! by @senator_stan_mcclain

Nothing beats @uflorida Homecoming in the Swamp! 🐊🧡💙 Even though the game didn’t end with a W, nothing compares to the energy, the traditions, and getting to catch up with wonderful friends. Always a great weekend in Gainesville! by @senator_stan_mcclain

A great day in Ocala celebrating the ribbon cutting for the new @moffittcancercenter First Connect location!

I was honored to speak at the event and join healthcare leaders, advocates, and community members as we officially welcomed Moffitt to Marion County.

Bringing world-class oncology care, initial assessments, and direct care coordination closer to home ensures local families can access the best treatment without traveling far.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vital resource to our community! by @senator_stan_mcclain

Had a great discussion with John Deere and industry leaders on issues impacting Florida’s agricultural and equipment industries, including the Right to Repair and how we can ensure equipment owners have access to the tools and resources needed to maintain and repair their equipment while balancing the needs of manufacturers and dealers.

It was a pleasure to be part of the conversation alongside Senator McClain, Representatives Scott and Johnson, as well as Chris Dudley with Floridian Partners, Adam Basford with Associated Industries of Florida, Natalie Higgins, State Public Affairs Manager with John Deere, and many other John Deere associates.

Thank you to Adam Basford for organizing this important discussion and to everyone who shared their perspectives. by @senator_stan_mcclain

It was great to welcome our next Lieutenant Governor, @bryanavilafl, to Ocala!

Bryan is a proven conservative fighter and a leader who understands what it takes to keep Florida moving in the right direction. Fantastic spending time with him alongside Representative Chad Johnson and Representative @ryanchamberlin as we keep working together to keep Florida free, strong, and affordable.

Let’s keep up the momentum!

Protecting the Rainbow River has been a top priority of mine since my time on the Marion County Board of County Commissioners. During that time on the commission, I realized just how critical this waterway is—not only as an ecological treasure, but as a major economic driver for Dunnellon and Marion County.

Today, I had the opportunity to tour the Rainbow River by boat and see firsthand the progress being made through the restoration funding Representative @jjgrow_ and I secured this session for One Rake at a Time, Inc.

I can promise you it’s more than one rake!

Recent years have brought challenges like declining water quality, silt buildup, and invasive species. With this state appropriation, the team is actively restoring the river by:

-Extending restoration across an additional 4.5 acres.

-Using hand-held vacuum suction to remove Hydrilla, Lyngbya, organic matter, and excess nutrients.

-Rebuilding native aquatic vegetation (SAV) to restore critical habitat for largemouth bass, sunfish, and alligator gar.

Protecting our natural springs ensures they remain clean, vibrant, and clear for our families and future generations! by @senator_stan_mcclain

They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy tax-free rods, reels, and camping gear—which is basically the same thing. 🎣⛺

As a country boy myself, I consider gear-shopping vital self-care. Starting September 1st through December 31st, Florida is holding a Sales Tax Holiday on hunting, fishing, and outdoor supplies!

Here’s your official approved excuse for the hardware store receipts:

-Bait & Tackle: Under $5 single, under $10 set
-Tackle Boxes & Lanterns: Under $30
-Stoves, Chairs & Sleeping Bags: Under $50
-Rods & Reels: Under $75 single, under $150 set
-Tents: Under $200

Tell your spouse you aren’t spending money—you’re saving on taxes. (Results may vary on that argument at home, but the tax savings are 100% real!) by @senator_stan_mcclain

Stronger workforce = stronger community! 🛠️📚

Pleased to join Representative Richard Gentry to deliver $1,000,000 to the @cfpatriots! We secured this funding in the 2026 session to expand critical workforce training programs that connect local talent with high-wage jobs in our region.

Grateful for CF’s leadership in preparing the next generation of professionals! by @senator_stan_mcclain

Days like today remind me of why I do what I do. Today, Representative @jjgrow_ and I had the privilege to participate in a check presentation for the Vet Resource Center provided by the Florida legislature. Funding is going to provide veterans across Florida access to an early warning cancer screening.

It’s always a pleasure to work alongside Rep. Grow! I’m so proud of the work the Vet Resource Center is doing to save the lives of our veterans. by @senator_stan_mcclain

Stepped out in style for a great cause this weekend at the 14th Annual Red Shoe Affair in Gainesville! 👠❤️

An extraordinary night supporting @rmhcncf and the families who rely on their home-away-from-home during medical crises. Huge appreciation to Executive Director @stevieeelea and the entire team for their relentless leadership and heart for our community.

Swipe to see a few highlights from the night! ✨
